Purpose:

The charge to the Science Policy Committee is to: 1. Identify, or respond to, issues of interest to the ASPET membership and propose policy statements for consideration by the Board and membership; 2. Develop ways to increase ASPET's visibility in the public policy and public information arena; and 3. Develop opportunities for ASPET members to become more involved in public affairs advocacy.
