Drug Research Policy (DRP)

Purpose:

As a global pharmacology community that advances the science of drugs and therapeutics to accelerate the discovery of cures for disease, drug policy changes impact the work of many pharmacologists. This subcommittee monitors drug policy changes, provides recommendations for the SPC on ASPET's engagement with such issues, and promotes policies that support and further pharmacology research. Focus areas include drug scheduling, cannabis and psychedelic research, and treatments for substance use disorders.
