Purpose:

1) Understanding the reasons why current ASPET members from industry originally joined the Society and remain ASPET members. 2) Learn the reasons why former ASPET members from industry are no longer members of the Society. 3) Identify member benefits and program opportunities that would increase the value of industry involvement with ASPET (both at the individual and organizational level) and provide recommendations on how ASPET can communicate its value to those in industry. 4) Raise awareness among the predominantly academic community of ASPET that biotech, pharma, and related private entities represent a rich pharmacology sector highly relevant to academic researchers’ scientific focus, interests, and careers.
