Appropriations/Budget Policy (APP)

Purpose:

As a scientific society whose members conduct basic and clinical pharmacological research, promoting sustainable funding for biomedical research is a key objective for advocacy at ASPET. This subcommittee monitors proposals and changes to the US discretionary funding, identifies ICs that are of importance to ASPET members and promotes them during appropriations season. It also develops ASPET messaging in relation to budget issues and appropriations.
